SEN Teaching Assistant - Secondary Schools - Barking and Dagenham - September Start

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a number of welcoming secondary schools in Barking and Dagenham, starting in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience while making a real difference in students' lives.

The Role:

Supporting students with a range of special educational needs (SEN), including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties

Providing 1:1 or small group support in and outside the classroom

Assisting with learning activities tailored to individual needs

Working closely with SENCOs, teachers, and pastoral staff

Helping to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable)

A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A genuine interest in education and inclusive learning

A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
