1:1 Learning Support Assistant Role - Secondary SEN School (Lambeth)
Daily Rate: £110-£130 (Depending on Experience)
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm | Full-Time | Term-Time Only
Location: Lambeth, South East London

A well-respected secondary SEN school in Lambeth is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to join their team immediately. This is a rewarding opportunity to support a student with additional needs, helping them engage with learning and develop essential skills for life.

The Role:

Provide 1:1 support to a student with SEN within a classroom setting

Work collaboratively with teaching staff and the SENCO to implement individual education plans

Encourage student engagement through creative and tailored support strategies

Maintain a calm, nurturing, and structured learning environment

Monitor progress and provide feedback to the wider support team

Requirements:

Previous school-based experience is essential - ideally in an SEN or support role

A track record of being proactive, hands-on, and adaptable to student needs

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong understanding of SEN, including autism, ADHD, or SEMH (desirable)

A patient, resilient, and compassionate attitude
