Salary: £15 - £18 per hour depending on experience
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

A well-respected and friendly school in Croydon is seeking a reliable and proactive Premises Assistant to join their site team immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

General site maintenance and repairs

Opening and closing the school premises

Ensuring health and safety standards are met

Supporting with setting up rooms for school events

Grounds maintenance and keeping the site tidy

Liaising with contractors and supporting fire safety procedures

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have previous experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential)

Be hands-on, dependable, and take pride in their work

Be flexible and able to work as part of a team

Have good communication and problem-solving skills

Hold a valid enhanced DBS (or be willing to undergo one)
