New Resource Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Team Leader on behalf of our client based at their Culcheth Depot in Warrington. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with strong leadership skills and a solid background in grounds maintenance to join a busy, well-established team.

You'll be responsible for overseeing multiple teams delivering high-quality grounds maintenance services across various local sites.

Role Responsibilities:

Team Supervision: Lead and manage grounds maintenance crews, supporting training and development of new and existing team members.

*

Operational Planning: Allocate and monitor daily tasks, conduct site visits, and ensure work is completed to agreed standards and timescales.

*

Health & Safety: Ensure all work adheres to company safety procedures and legal requirements; conduct equipment checks and report incidents where necessary.

*

Client Relations: Act as the main point of contact for clients on site, attending meetings, providing updates, and maintaining strong working relationships.

*

Reporting: Maintain accurate job records, assist with route planning and scheduling, and provide weekly progress updates to management.

What We're Looking For:

*

Previous experience in a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader or similar supervisory role

*

Strong knowledge of horticultural and grounds maintenance practices

*

Understanding of health and safety regulations (including experience with RAMS)

*

Excellent communication and team management skills

*

Full UK driving licence (towing licence desirable)

*

PA1/PA6 spraying certification preferred

*

Hands-on experience with machinery such as ride-on mowers, strimmers, hedge trimmers, etc.
