We are currently recruiting Packers to join our client in Chatteris, who specialise in the repackaging of dried fruit and nuts. This is a great opportunity to join a busy warehouse team in a stable Monday to Friday role.
The Role
As a Packing Operative, you will be involved in the handling and preparation of food products ready for distribution. The role will include a mixture of warehouse and manual handling tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Repackaging dried fruit and nut products
- Repalletising stock ready for dispatch
- Wrapping pallets securely for transport
- Moving goods around the warehouse
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Following all food safety and health & safety procedures
Requirements
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to carry out manual handling tasks
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work as part of a team in a busy environment
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential
Pay & Hours
- £12.71 per hour
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am start
- 60-minute break
