Academics, a leading education recruitment agency, is working in partnership with several secondary schools across Halifax who are seeking dedicated Science Teachers for September 2025. Multiple roles are available, including full-time and part-time positions, with both long-term and permanent options.

The Roles:

• Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 opportunities may also be available)
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to inspire curiosity and critical thinking
• Contribute to assessment, tracking and reporting of pupil progress
• Support whole-school initiatives to raise achievement and attainment in Science
• Work collaboratively with experienced Science departments

We Are Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
• Strong subject knowledge in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or general)
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• A commitment to student progress and inclusive learning
• ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
