Accounts Assistant
Burton on Trent - Hybrid

We are delighted to be partnering with a fantastic business based in Burton to hire an Accounts Assistant in to their team. The role of Accounts Assistant will report in to our clients Financial Controller and has a broad range of responsibilities including:
Credit Control and Sales Ledger
- Posting and allocating customer payments
- Generate sales invoicing
- Resolving sales invoice queries
- Monitor credit limits on the customer accounts.
Purchase Ledger
- Processing supplier invoices
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Company expenses processing and reconciliation of credit card statements
Accounting
- Cash book and bank reconciliations
- Support with month end processes
The role is ideally suited to a strong Transactional Finance candidate with experience in both sales and purchase ledger. Ideally you will be AAT qualified, however our client is also considering candidates with good experience as an Accounts Assistant, and candidates part way through their AAT studies. You will need to demonstrate that you are super organisation and that you are used to managing your own day to day work load with exceptional attention to detail .
