Pay rate: £14.00 - £15.00 per hour

Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm (35 hours per week)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childrens SEN Support Worker to join our team. As an SEN Support Worker, you will provide assistance and support to individuals in need with a school setting, ensuring their well-being and promoting their independence. Duties: and responsibilities of the Childrens SEN Support Worker

• Provide on-going care and support to young children with special educational needs
• Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and other team members
• Provide childcare and supervision as needed
• Assist with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders
• Support individuals in developing and maintaining social skills
• Drive individuals to appointments or activities as required
• Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement care plans

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs is preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
