Description

• Prepare and review financial statements and reports for clients in compliance with regulations.
• Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely submission to authorities.
• Support senior accountants with audits and other financial reviews.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.
• Liaise with clients to address financial queries and provide advice as needed.
• Monitor budgets and forecasts to provide financial insights.
• Contribute to the development of accounting processes and systems improvements.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations relevant to the professional services industry.

Profile

A successful Semi-Senior Accountant should have:

• A strong academic background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Be at least AAT qualified.
• Previous experience in accounting or finance roles, ideally within professional services.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with colleagues and clients.
