The Opportunity: Head of Private Client

  • Location: Norwich (Flexible/Hybrid).

The Role

You will inherit a high-quality body of work, specifically focusing on complex trust structures and sophisticated estate planning. You won't be doing it alone—you’ll have the dedicated support of a paralegal and legal secretary to ensure you can focus on high-level advisory and strategy.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Expert Advisory: Manage the creation and restructuring of discretionary, life interest, and property trusts.
  • Leadership: Provide day-to-day line management for the private client team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and supportive supervision.
  • Strategic Growth: Act as a key voice in the firm’s expansion, identifying cross-selling opportunities and driving our reputation in the market.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside our dispute resolution team on contentious trust matters and engage with external professionals to provide holistic solutions.

What You’ll Bring

  • Qualification: You are a Qualified Solicitor with a proven track record in managing trust matters independently.
  • The "STEP" Factor: Full STEP membership (or progress toward it) is highly desirable.

  • Client Connection: You can translate complex legalities into clear, empathetic, and commercially sound advice.
