Company Overview:
We are recruiting on behalf of our Client who are long-standing, well-established company based in Halesowen with a strong reputation for reliability, quality, and excellent service. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and motivated General Operative to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out general operative duties across the workshop and site.

* Operate forklift trucks (FLT Counterbalance licence or experience required).

* Drive the company van as and when required (full UK driving licence essential).

* Work to picking lists to ensure accurate order processing.

* Assembly of components

* Perform fettling and shot blasting tasks.

* Carry out pressure testing duties.

* Liaise with the Quality Department to report and resolve any product issues.

* Assist with loading/unloading and movement of materials.

* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.

* Support colleagues and supervisors to achieve production and operational targets.

Skills & Requirements:

* Full UK driving licence - essential.

* FLT Counterbalance licence or relevant experience - essential.

* Overhead Crane (OHC) licence - preferred but not essential (training may be provided).

* Previous experience with order processing, picking lists, fettling, shot blasting, or pressure testing is desirable.

* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.

* Reliable, punctual, and with a strong work ethic.

* Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
