Field Engineer - Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) - 12 month contract

We are looking for a skilled Field Engineer to join our dynamic project team for a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) site in Blackburn. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a cutting-edge renewable energy project with a potential contract extension.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, test, and commission BESS equipment on-site

Diagnose and resolve system faults and issues

Liaise with subcontractors and internal project teams

Maintain clear and accurate site documentation

Ensure all work meets Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards

Offer technical support and contribute to project feedback

Assist with smooth project handover and acceptance

Requirements:

Proven experience in an engineering role (BESS experience essential)

Valid LV Certificate

Valid CSCS Card

Able to commit to full-time, on-site work in Blackburn

Must arrange own accommodation and meals
