Day Shift

I am currently looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to provide maintenance support covering a wide range of plant and equipment in a busy production environment.

Ensuring breakdowns are attended to and resolved quickly to maintain minimal downtime and disruption to the production process, you will be expected to: -

* Carry out routine inspection on various plant and equipment, carrying out repair work during normal production activity whilst providing engineering solutions to assist and maximise operational capacity

* Undertake fault-finding and problem solving work on a wide range of equipment and machinery

* Log breakdowns and issues accurately and effectively using software systems provided

* Work with the team to oversee the installation of new and existing plant

You will be qualified to at least HNC, ideally with experience of working within an automotive manufacturing environment

You will have an excellent understanding of electro-mechanical & pneumatic devices i.e. pump, valves, motors, cylinders, sensors, hydraulic systems etc. and have working experience in a busy plant environment
