Teaching Assistant

Haywards Heath (Full-Time / Part-Time Available)

We are seeking a friendly and supportive Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Haywards Heath. This role offers flexible working options, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in the classroom and help students stay engaged with their learning. The role may involve working with different year groups and providing 1:1 support for pupils who require additional help.

Key responsibilities:

• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery
• Supporting students individually or in small groups
• Providing 1:1 support where required
• Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Encouraging students to stay focused and confident in their learning

We are looking for someone who:

• Enjoys working with children and supporting their development
• Is patient, approachable, and reliable
• Can adapt to different classroom settings and student needs
• Has strong communication and teamwork skills
• Is enthusiastic about helping students succeed

Previous experience working in a school or with children is helpful but not essential, as training and support can be provided.
