P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a Goods in / Forklift Operative to join their team on a full time temporary basis, based in Great Yarmouth.

Applicants for this role must have basic reading and maths skills ADR experience would be preferred and basic computer skills and Navision knowledge would also be of an advantage.

This role would suit those who can work on their own and part of a team and interacting with other team members.

Duties will include:

* Basic computer skills, Excel Word.

* Forklift -Unloading Vehicles

* Putting pallets on to Racking using a Flexi- truck

* Unloading by hand

* Receive and process transactions in real time

* Read and Book in items from Purchase orders

* Pass product received to the Warehouse and Production

* Report discrepancies as they arise.

* Maintain good housekeeping skills

* Adhere to health and Safety policy

* Labelling of Pallets prior to putting away

* Supporting Continuous improvement team, and five S Audits

* Apply, execute and maintain function related quality issues as they arise.

Person Specification:

* Efficient experience in warehouse duties

* In date Counterbalance Forklift License

* In date Flexi-Truck License

* Physical stamina

* Teamwork

* Basic computer and math skills

* Great internal and external communicator

Preferred:

* Trained in ADR/IMDG/IATA

* Nav18 understanding
