Role: Enhanced Learning Support Assistant

Location: Manchester Type: Temporary, Full-time Rate: £15 - £20 per hour Eden Brown are seeking a enthusiastic Enhanced Learning Support Officer on behalf of a leading sixth form in Manchester. This role would be ideal for a new graduate who could provide support to a learner studying for their A levels in Media/Film Studies and possibly English. The 1:1 students come from a wide curriculum background, the focus is on mainly supporting them with study skills and/or communication skills so work /experience/ or possibly qualifications in SEN would be very useful. The SEN students are academically able so the successful candidate should be a graduate. This is a full time, ongoing, temporary role to start in December, the hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 4:00pm Key Responsibilities: * Provide general support with study skills to a individual in A level in History, Film and English * Offer learning and personal support both in-class and during independent study periods. * Help keep the student motivated and focused, and support with note-taking. Who we're looking for: * Someone with a minimum level 4 qualification in English/Film or History * A patient, encouraging, and adaptable individual who can make a real difference in students' academic journeys.
