Electrical Production Engineer / Panel Wirer / Electrical Assembler required for an established technology organisation based in Kettering, Northants. The company includes a manufacturing department specialising in the production of special purpose machinery and equipment, and supplied to customers in the UK and worldwide.

The successful candidate will support the Production Team with electrical assembly duties including preparing and wiring machinery to technical drawings and include taking ownership of the final stages – completing defined calibrations and verifications.

This role may present international travel opportunities for on-site repair and / or commissioning within Asia, Europe and North America.

Full training in internal procedures and critical processes ie: clarification and verification, will be provided.

Responsibilities will include:

· Accurate preparation and wiring of chassis and machinery, working to deadlines

· Triage and remedy of electrical faults found within prototype, production and customer machinery

· Calibration of machinery to procedures including the accurate digital capture of calibration data

· Electrical / engineering / panel wiring experience

· Tenacious with a ‘can-do’ attitude

· Highly organised

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Confident in the use of computers including Microsoft Office products – Excel and Word

· Able and comfortable to work as part of a team

· Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

· NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification or equivalent

· Experience in PLC programming
