Site Engineer - Civil Engineering

About the Role

You will be responsible for overseeing engineering activities on site, ensuring accuracy in setting out, compliance with design specifications, and the highest standards of quality and safety. Working as part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, your contribution will help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

Setting out and conducting site surveys
Interpreting technical drawings, plans, and specifications
Monitoring site works to ensure compliance with design and quality standards
Implementing and maintaining health and safety procedures
Assist with tender preparation
Obtaining necessary permits and approvals
Ensuring adherence to company quality assurance protocols
Supporting project delivery within agreed timeframes and budgets
Mentoring and assisting junior engineers
Contributing to additional engineering tasks as required
What We're Looking For

A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering, ideally in groundworks and infrastructure
A recognised qualification in civil engineering (HND/C or Degree)
Strong setting-out skills using modern surveying equipment
Knowledge of CAD or ground modelling software is desirable but not essential
Valid SMSTS, SSSTS, CSCS card and full UK driving licence
