Description

  • Managing a portfolio of accounts to maximise collections and reduce aged debt.
  • Ensuring timely and effective collection of all debts and payments.
  • Negotiating repayment plans.
  • Resolving queries regarding unpaid invoices.
  • Processing and reconciling complex transactions.
  • Producing statements and reports.
  • Reviewing credit applications and credit references to set up new accounts.
  • Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • A strong understanding of credit control processes within the retail industry.
  • Excellent negotiation and resolution skills.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • A qualification in finance or accounting is desirable.
