Description
- Managing a portfolio of accounts to maximise collections and reduce aged debt.
- Ensuring timely and effective collection of all debts and payments.
- Negotiating repayment plans.
- Resolving queries regarding unpaid invoices.
- Processing and reconciling complex transactions.
- Producing statements and reports.
- Reviewing credit applications and credit references to set up new accounts.
- Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- A strong understanding of credit control processes within the retail industry.
- Excellent negotiation and resolution skills.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- A qualification in finance or accounting is desirable.
