Repairs Assistant - £16.26 LTD - Kent 📍

We're currently looking for a Repairs Assistant to join a busy housing maintenance team based in Kent. This is a full-time temporary role offering a competitive rate of £16.26 per hour LTD.

🔑 Key Responsibilities:
📞 Act as the first point of contact for repair, planned maintenance, and general housing enquiries
🗂   Provide administrative and telephone support to the Repairs & Maintenance team
🛠 Raise repair jobs, diagnose faults, and issue work orders to contractors within agreed timescales
📝 Maintain accurate records of communications, inspections, and completions
👷 Liaise with tenants, contractors, and surveyors to ensure high standards are met
📋 Ensure compliance with policies including Right to Repair, disrepair, asbestos, energy performance & safeguarding

🙋  About You:
✅ Experience in customer service or a front-line/call-handling role
🏚 Background in housing repairs or building maintenance is a bonus
💻 Confident IT, communication, and admin skills
⚙️ Able to manage priorities and work well in a fast-paced environment
