Position:  SEN Teacher – KS3/KS4

Salary: £32,916.00 - £45,350.00 (in line with national teacher pay-scale calculated on a daily basis)

Location: Blackpool (FY3)

Duration: Maternity cover

Vida Education are working alongside a SEN school located in the Blackpool (FY3) area to find an experienced, enthusiastic qualified teacher with a SEN specialism, to work within the KS3 and KS4 provision. The school support students with social emotional & mental health issue (SEMH) who often present with challenging behaviours. The position is to cover a maternity leave for the full academic year.

School

• Located in Blackpool with links to local public transport network
• Cater for children from ages 7-16
• Children present with SEMH and/or complex needs within the provision
• OFSTED rated GOOD

Requirements:

• UK QTS in essential
• Strong behavioural management skills are essential
• Prior experience working with children SEND including Challenging behaviours
• Effective and confident behaviour management skills
• Willing to undergo full clearance procedure. Including but not limited to; DBS checks, proofs of address, references and right to work checks.

YOU WILL NEED TO

• Have UK Right to Work Status.
• Hold a TA qualification or have relevant work experience.
• Complete a registration with Vida Education which includes holding a current Enhanced DBS registered with the DBS Update Service, or you will be prepared to apply for a new ENHANCED DBS with ourselves (cost applied).
