Kitchen Assistant

• £12.71 per hour
• 30 hours per week
• Pension, Onsite parking, Paid PVG, Uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full time contract

Role OverviewAs a Kitchen Assistant, you will support the kitchen team in preparing and delivering high quality meals while maintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment. Your role is essential in ensuring meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard, contributing to the overall wellbeing and daily experience of our residents.

You will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness across all kitchen areas, support with deliveries and ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are followed at all times. You will work closely with the wider team to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely.

•  Good understanding of hygiene and food safety practices
•  Strong attention to detail
•  Ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment
•  Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is desirable but not essential
