Location: Harrow, HA2
Hours: 8.30 - 3.30PM - OPEN TO FULL TIME OR PART TIME DAYS

Are you a passionate and experienced HLTA with a strong commitment to inclusive education? We are seeking an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to lead our EYFS SEN class within our welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in supporting children with a range of special educational needs, mainly autism in our Early Years SEN setting. Working closely with the SENCo, EYFS Lead, and class teacher, you will deliver, and assess high-quality provision that enables every child to thrive.

You will:

Lead day-to-day learning and care for a small EYFS SEN class

*

Deliver tailored interventions and adapted EYFS curriculum activities

*

Support pupils' communication, social, emotional, and developmental needs

*

Observe, assess, and contribute to EHCP targets and individual learning plans

*

Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, families, and external agencies

*

Model excellent practice and support other support staff in the setting

About You

We are looking for someone who:

*

Has experience working with EYFS and children with SEN, ideally within a mainstream or specialist setting

*

Has a secure understanding of child development and inclusive practice

*

Is confident leading learning activities and small groups

*

Demonstrates patience, creativity, resilience, and a nurturing approach

*

Has excellent communication and teamwork skills

*

Experience with ASD, speech and language needs, or sensory processing difficulties is essential
