Hire Controller | Sevenoaks, Kent | Temp to Perm (£15 - £19 per hour)
 
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Hire Controller to join our team. This role is responsible for coordinating the end-to-end hire process, ensuring equipment and resources are allocated efficiently while delivering excellent customer service.
 
Responsibilities

Manage incoming hire requests, providing timely and accurate quotations
Coordinate the scheduling, delivery, and collection of hired equipment
Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth operations
Monitor equipment availability and utilisation to maximise efficiency
Maintain accurate records of hire contracts, invoices, and asset tracking
Resolve any issues or delays quickly and professionally
Ensure compliance with company procedures and health & safety standards
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers 
Skills

Previous experience in a hire desk, rental, logistics, or coordination role
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Good IT skills, including experience with booking or scheduling systems
A proactive and problem-solving mindset
