Headturner Search is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a leading accountancy practice in Worcestershire for an Accounts Manager role.

The Role:
As Accounts Manager, you'll take charge of reviewing and finalising year-end accounts, leading a dedicated team of professionals, and holding client meetings via phone or video to ensure transparency and clarity. This is a technically focused role centred on compliance, accuracy, and mentoring—ideal for someone who enjoys getting things right and helping others do the same.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and sign off year-end accounts for a wide range of clients.

Stay current with legislative and software updates in tax and accountancy.

*

Conduct client year-end review meetings (virtually).

*

Lead, develop, and mentor a growing team through 1:1s and coaching.

*

Plan workflows, manage deadlines, and ensure the highest service standards.

*

Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and efficiency.

What We're Looking For:

*

AAT/ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).

*

Solid technical expertise in tax and accountancy practices.

*

Strong people leadership and mentoring skills.

*

Great communicator with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.

*

Comfortable using platforms like Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and more.
