We are on the lookout for an experienced Nursery Practitioner with a passion for early childhood education to join an ‘outstanding’ rated setting North West London, nearby to Harrow.

This well-established nursery offers care for children aged from 3 months until 5 years of age. The beautiful secure building offers a range of facilities including an all-weather garden to the rear of the nursery. The nursery is close to the tube and well served by local bus routes.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be organising your key children’s daily routines, liaising with parents, providing an enabling environment, and delivering high quality care. You will support each child’s individual needs, interests, and learning whilst providing effective interaction within a fun and stimulating environment that allows them to explore and discover new skills and experiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Foster a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment for children, focusing on their individual needs and developmental milestones
  • Design and implement age-appropriate activities that promote development social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills
  • Regularly observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to share with parents and caregivers
  • Work with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure a collaborative and supportive approach to childcare
  • Collaborate with fellow practitioners and contribute to a positive team culture, sharing ideas and best practices
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Recognised Level 3 Early Years Childcare qualification
  • Previous experience in a childcare setting
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for children
