We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a school in Bracknell. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs, helping them to achieve their full potential in an educational setting.
Day-to-day of the role: - Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs (SEN).
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Support classroom teachers in managing student behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.
- Help students with their academic work, including reading, writing, and mathematics.
- Encourage and motivate students to engage in classroom activities.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Assist with the preparation of learning materials and resources.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting.
- Understanding of SEN and strategies to support students with diverse needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or child development (desirable but not essential).
