An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, highly skilled electrical engineering professional to join a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment in Blackburn. Working on a 4-on-4-off shift pattern, you will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency and minimising downtime across a wide range of food production equipment, whilst being involved in exciting modernisation projects.

This role would suit a proactive, hardworking maintenance engineer with the flexibility to be able to quickly transition from job to job. The role requires a electrical maintenance engineer who is time served, with a minimum qualification of level 3 with strong PLC fault finding capabilities. Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of engineers and an apprentice to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance and ensure accurate fault diagnosis and repair.
Minimise equipment downtime by addressing recurring faults and implementing improvements.
Maintain accurate records and manage shift-related admin including holidays and OT.
Champion health & safety, building maintenance, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

The role offers a competitive salary of £47,700 per annum, with an auto-enrolment pension. In addition, the company offers great opportunities for both personal and professional opportunities.
