Responsibilities:

• Delivering engaging and imaginative lessons specifically tailored to Year 1 or Year 2
• Fostering a stimulating and safe learning environment that encourages early independence
• Working closely with a job-share partner or class team to ensure continuity of learning
• Assessing student progress and providing the feedback needed to help young learners flourish
• Communicating effectively with parents and carers regarding student development
• Using your expertise in Phonics (e.g., Read Write Inc or Little Wandle) to boost literacy

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
• Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (KS1)
• An enhanced child DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Right to work in the UK - Essential (sponsorship is not available)
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
• A passionate, flexible, and reliable approach to part-time teaching
