A well-regarded residential property operator is looking to strengthen its service charge finance team with the hire of a Service Charge Accountant.

This is a business that has built a strong reputation in the market for quality of service and employee retention. They've grown consistently over the past 20 years and are investing further into their finance function as the portfolio expands.

You'll sit close to operations - working directly with property managers and having real ownership over a portfolio of estates. It's a role that gives you full visibility across the service charge cycle rather than being boxed into one area.

What you'll be doing:

• Full ownership of service charge budgets across a portfolio
• Managing billing cycles including service charge and ground rent
• Preparing year end accounts and liaising with external accountants
• Handling utilities, insurance recharges and associated admin

What they're looking for:

• Experience in service charge accounting
• Comfortable with accruals and prepayments
• Studying or interested in AAT, ACCA, CIMA or ACA
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
