Job Title: Plant Equipment Sales Executive
Patch: Greater London, Hertfordshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire
On target earnings: £150,000 - £200,000 per annum
Hours: 8am to 6pm - Monday to Friday

My client, a leading manufacturer and supplier of plant and construction equipment, is looking to expand their team with the addition of a Plant Equipment Sales Executive. Representing a highly respected brand with a strong market presence and an extensive product portfolio, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a business known for quality and innovation.

Plant Equipment Sales Executive Job Role:
• Working as part of a dedicated sales team, you'll be responsible for engaging with local construction, civil engineering, and plant hire businesses to assess their equipment needs.
• You will manage the full sales cycle, ensuring every customer interaction is professional and tailored.
• Identify and approach businesses with requirements for excavators, dumpers, rollers, telehandlers, and other plant machinery.
• Guide customers through the sales process, providing expert knowledge and delivering exceptional service as a brand ambassador.
• Achieve individual sales targets through proactive engagement and follow-up.
• Support lead generation through strategic prospecting and marketing initiatives.
• Stay up to date with product specifications and new releases through regular training and manufacturer updates.
• Oversee the equipment handover process, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and industry standards.
• Ensure all sales activities are carried out in line with relevant legislation and company policies.

Plant Equipment Sales Executive Requirements:
• To be successful in this role, you will need previous experience selling plant, construction or agricultural machinery.
• Strong influencing skills and a confident approach to converting leads into sales.
• Excellent customer relationship management with the ability to build long-term client partnerships.
• A professional and process-driven attitude, with a focus on delivering results.
