We are working with a Secondary school in East Surrey who is seeking a dedicated and passionate part-time Teacher of French. This role involves teaching French up to Key Stage 5, with the ability to also teach German or Spanish being desirable. They are proud to serve a diverse student body and are committed to providing an inclusive and supportive environment that fosters academic, social, and spiritual growth within a Christian framework.

Day-to-Day of the Role:
  • Teach French to students up to Key Stage 5, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning are maintained.
  • Assist in the development of programmes of study, materials, and schemes of work.
  • Participate in professional development programmes to enhance teaching practice.
  • Contribute to the cultural and community life of the school through various activities.
  • Perform duties of a Form Tutor, supporting students' academic and personal development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or have the automatic right to obtain it without further training.
  • Experience teaching French across various age and ability ranges.
  • Ability to teach German or Spanish is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong commitment to the ethos of the School and ability to work effectively within an explicitly Christian context.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster good working and learning habits in students.
