Early Years Practitioner (Agency Staff)

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver safe, inclusive, and stimulating care and learning opportunities for children.

Follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and support children's developmental milestones.

*

Support children's emotional, physical, and social development.

*

Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children at all times.

*

Set up and tidy away activities, resources, and learning environments.

*

Maintain accurate records and observations (where applicable).

*

Work collaboratively with permanent staff and follow each setting's policies and procedures.

*

Adapt quickly to different settings and routines.

*

Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents/carers.

Requirements:

Essential:

Minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, BTEC)

Up-to-date Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service)

Knowledge of the EYFS framework

*

Experience working with children aged 0-5 years in a professional setting

*

Flexibility and reliability

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to follow instructions and work independently
