Our client is seeking to hire an Accounting/Office manager to add to their team. They are a very collaborative team and they have more than doubled their business within the last year. Responsibilities of Accounting/Office Manager:



  • Establishes and maintains internal controls along with policies and procedures for accounting transactions.

  • Prepares business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.

  • Handles all the bookkeeping

  • Identifies and calculates variances from the budget and report significant issues to management.

  • Manages and oversees all finance and accounting operations including overseeing the day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, payroll, inventory and fixed assists.

  • Performs monthly closings and is responsible for preparing and issuing timely financial reports for internal use.

  • Presents recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies.

  • Provides financial analysis for management to help make strategic business decisions.

  • Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.

  • Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

  • Manages the accounting staff who are responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, collections and payroll.

  • Recruits and hires accounting staff and conducts performance evaluations.



Qualifications of Accounting/Office Manager:



  • 2-3 years of experience in management or supervisory.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Proficient in accounting and QuickBooks

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
