They are looking for an Account Manager based in Manchester to manage exisitng clients all over the UK.

What will you be doing as a Business Development Manager?

* Achieving both a set volume and revenue targets

* Become accredited and develop granular knowledge of features, advantages and benefits of both O2 and Vodafone network/propositions

* Develop granular knowledge of features, advantages and benefits of wider product portfolio including Digital, VoIP and Connectivity

* Generate new business from cold calling activity

* Have commercial acumen to maximise on profit on every sale, without putting the deal outcome at risk

* Follow all processes and procedures

* Ensure CRM is updated with accurate information at all stages of the sales cycle - including close date, GP, volume, sales stage etc.

* Complete all required business reporting in timely manner

* Gaining deep insight to understand a potential customers business and their plans on how Mobile, Connectivity, Telephony, IT and mobile device solutions will aid their own growth and development plans.

* Generate opportunities from calling data as well as leads supplied from BDA's

* Gain referrals and leads for additional products and services, not limited to Hosted Telephony, Unified Communications solutions; Connectivity (ADSL: Leased Lines; EFM); Secure Networks (MPLS); Security/Devise Management Solutions; Fixed Lines and Calls; IT Services

* Attend client meetings when necessary

* The role will flex with the needs of your customers and the ever-changing connected world in which we operate so the ability to cope with constant change is a must

* To ensure you attend all training modules on all aspects of products and services to ensure you can identify opportunity when speaking to our customers. You must become conversant in all products and services and an expert on mobile solutions

* To clearly demonstrate your ability to build a pipeline of opportunity in accordance with your targets

What experience / skills are we looking for?

* Proven track record

* A minimum of 12 months working within a telecom's environment ideally selling mobile

* Ability to work well within a team

* Strong interpersonal skills

* The role is a home-based role, however there will be a requirement from time to time to attend meetings at both the offices
