Monday – Friday – Days

Salary is dependent on experience

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabrication Assistant for our client.

• Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, weld and fabricate metal components
• Work with Mild and Stainless Steel pipework and Structural Steelwork
• Cut, Drill and Prepare pipe and Steelwork prior to fabrication
• Assist in fabricating metal parts
• Carry out application of protective coatings
• Protect finished objects from transport and installation damage

Duties will include:

The Person:

• Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
• Familiarity with working with mild and stainless-steel pipework and structural steelwork an advantage
• Be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• A willingness to listen and learn
