Estimator / Buyer - Plumbing and Heating Contractor

Location: Barnsley

Salary: £50,000 + Package

Role & Responsibilities:

Sole Estimator / Buyer for a £6 million turnover plumbing business reporting into the Commercial Director:

Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
Analise / review project requirements and specifications
Liaise with internal stakeholders, suppliers and subcontractors to obtain prices
Meet with clients to discuss projects, specification and programmes
Purchase raw materials for site and agree call offs
Managing stock / stores levels
Agreeing yearly contracts with suppliers
About the Company:

Established Plumbing and Heating Contractor with over 30 years trading history.
£6 million turnover business
Work on social housing, new build housing and commercial refurb projects
Repeat client base with several frameworks in place
Requirements:

Good IT skills including Microsoft Excel
Attention to detail.
Organisation and problem-solving skills
Pricing trend awareness
