Commissioning Engineer

St Helens Region

Days - Monday to Friday - Half Day on Friday

£45,000 - £50,000 + Bonus, Healthcare and Pension

My client, a market leading manufacturer has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and technically minded candidate to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to join a company who are constantly looking to improve & develop.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Completion of in-house testing
  • When required, on-site cold commissioning in relation to team needs
  • Provide support to service commissioning with regards to cold commissioning and testing
  • When deemed necessary, involvement in FAT Testing
  • Compile test schedule, complete testing, and test documentation
  • Provide support and feedback to engineering department

Required Skills & Experience

  • Electrical testing experience
  • Familiar with producing Technical Reports
  • Experience in the fundamentals of switchgear and how it operates, maintenance, and fault finding
  • Proactive and ability to make decisions quickly
  • Results-orientated
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
