The Role

As Proposals Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in developing detailed technical and commercial bids that meet client specifications and win business. You'll collaborate closely with sales engineers and project teams, ensuring proposals are accurate, competitive, and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing winning bids that balance technical compliance, pricing, and commercial value
Leading the collation and submission of proposal documentation
Liaising with sales engineers to meet customer expectations
Maintaining the project enquiry list and drafting initial project plans
Attending project launch meetings to support handover
Staying current with industry developments in mechanical design, CAD, and control systems

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who's:

A graduate in mechanical or process engineering
Experienced-10+ years in proposals within a process or systems environment
Detail-oriented with strong literacy and numerical skills
Organised and capable of managing multiple deadlines
An effective communicator across internal teams and external stakeholders
