We're looking for an experienced and committed Social Worker to join the Early Help and Safeguarding Hub (EHASH) team. This is a front door role, where you'll be the first point of contact for concerns raised about children and families.

Your main focus will be to screen and assess incoming contacts to ensure timely, safe, and appropriate support is provided.

• ?? Review and assess contacts made to EHASH regarding children's safety and wellbeing

• ?? Make informed decisions based on risk, need, and threshold guidance

• ?? Ensure all decisions are clearly recorded and made in a timely manner

• ?? Work closely with early help, education, police, and health partners

• ???????? Signpost or escalate contacts to appropriate services as needed

• ??? Maintain a child-centred and safeguarding-focused approach in every decision

• �? Qualified Social Worker (CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent)

• ?? Registered with Social Work England

• ??? Minimum 3 years post-qualifying experience in children's safeguarding

• ?? Strong understanding of thresholds, early help, and statutory intervention

• ?? Clear communicator with excellent decision-making and recording skills

• ?? Confident using IT systems and managing high-volume work efficiently
