Senior Manager – Release and Quality Assurance | up to £70,000 | Fully Remote

Pearson Carter are currently working with an innovative provider of commercial software for IT Service Providers, specializing in Managed Services and Cloud Computing providers.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology.
• 7+ years business experience; or equivalent combination of education, training, and
• 3-4 years of ITIL Processes for Release, Change and Configuration Management and
• Quality Assurance
• Proven leadership experience in managing QA and Release Management teams.
• Strong technical background in software development, quality assurance, or related
• Experience with JIRA, Atlassian products, confluence, Agile, and industry-standard
• CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Teamcity, Octopus.
• Excellent communication skills for effective internal and external collaboration.
• Experience in implementing risk management strategies, conducting post-release
• reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Project Management and deployment/support staff to ensure seamless integration into planned release schedules.
• Lead a team of QA manual and QA automation engineers, setting clear goals and expectations, providing coaching, and fostering a high performing team culture.
• Develop and implement an effective quality assurance strategy, define best practices, and oversee the execution of comprehensive test plans.
• Conduct thorough Post-Deployment Analysis of all implementations to assess performance, identify issues, gather feedback, and report on established metrics.

Salary:

They are offering a salary of up to £70,000 plus a strong benefits package including a great bonus and pension scheme alongside hybrid working.

Location

The client is based in London and they are looking for someone to work fully remote from within the UK.
