Position Description:

Victory Propane is seeking a highly motivated Outside Sales Account Executive to expand our industrial propane customer base. Qualified sales applicants must have:

  • Proven track record of growing sales.
  • Hunter mentality, be experienced in quickly finding the decision makers and closing sales in an assigned territory.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good organization and time management skills.
  • Be driven to succeed.
  • Experience selling industrial propane is a plus.

This is a high energy sales position with six figure income potential in the first year.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with businesses through cold calling in the field to cultivate new prospects.
  • Ability to cold call 10 - 15 sales prospects per day. In this role, cold calling will be in person encounters with potential sales prospects.
  • Increase customer base year over year.
  • Negotiate and close sales contracts and service agreements.
  • Partner with Management to aggressively pursue regional account business opportunities.
  • Follow up with new accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and fulfillment of the job.
  • Maintain relationships with key accounts to ensure continual customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with plant operations to effectively service customer accounts.

Benefits & Pay:

Victory provides our Outside Sales Account Executives with competitive pay, incentive / bonus potential, vacations, holidays, and a comprehensive benefits package including health and dental insurance.

Outside Sales Account Executive compensation is expected to be between $85,000 - 150,000 per year in base salary and commissions.

Requirements

  • Some college or equivalent in experience & education (business related Bachelors Degree preferred)
  • 2+ years cold calling on warehouses and/or factories.
  • Ability to work outdoors and in various weather & driving conditions
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with existing and potential customers
  • Flexibility to work outside of basic job description
