A welcoming and inclusive Early Years School in central London is seeking a qualified and experienced SENCO to join their team from April 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate practitioner to take on a key leadership role within a well-established and supportive early years environment.

The Role

As SENCO, you will play a key leadership role in coordinating SEND provision across the nursery, ensuring early identification, effective intervention, and inclusive practice for all children with additional needs. Your responsibilities will include:

Leading on EHCP processes and overseeing individual support plans
Maintaining and updating the SEND register, with accurate records of pupils' needs and progress
Liaising with parents, external agencies, and borough support teams to ensure joined-up, high-quality provision
Organising and delivering staff training to build confidence and consistency in inclusive approaches across the setting
This position is offered on a 5 day per week basis, term-time only.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
The National SENCO Award (or equivalent recognised qualification)
Experience working with children with SEND in an Early Years setting
Strong working knowledge of the EYFS Framework and SEND Code of Practice
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skillsThe School
