I am working with a client that have cornered the market within Cleanroom Design and Build. They are seeking 2x Quantity Surveyors to assist with an ongoing project on Pharmaceutical Facilities in the local area. The business is dynamic and prides itself on being a true champion of collaboration and innovation.

The Role

As Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of projects, supporting the delivery of complex construction schemes within highly regulated process environments.

You'll work closely with Project Managers and key stakeholders to manage costs, assess risks, and ensure that value and quality are delivered throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects, including forecasting, cost control, and reporting.

* Preparing applications, invoices, variations, and compensation events.

* Providing commercial advice and reviewing terms and conditions for tenders and contracts.

* Supporting project risk management and developing mitigation strategies.

* Benchmarking project performance to demonstrate value for money.

* Liaising with project teams on the procurement of subcontract packages, equipment, and materials.

* Preparing tender documentation, analysing bids, and producing commercial reports.

* Supporting the preparation of budgets, estimates, and target costs for clients

About You

* Degree in Quantity Surveying (preferred) or HNC in Quantity Surveying / Building Services / Construction.

* Strong experience managing commercial aspects of construction projects — ideally within pharmaceutical, cleanroom, or laboratory environments, or other highly regulated industries (e.g. Nuclear, BioTech, etc).

* Proficient in traditional, alliance, collaborative, and reimbursable contract arrangements.

* Good working knowledge of NEC contracts.

* IT literate with strong analytical and communication skills.

* Professional membership (RICS, CIOB, ICE, CIBSE) advantageous but not essential.
