Our client is looking to add a motivated Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer to join a growing delivery team on a range of civil engineering projects across the southeast. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part delivering interesting unique projects.

• Carry out setting out, surveying, and dimensional control duties as a Setting Out Engineer on site

• Ensure all activities are delivered in line within internal systems, procedures, and policies

• Monitor site conditions including movement, vibration, and environmental factors

• Maintain and regularly check calibration of surveying equipment

• Maintain accurate records of site activities, quality checks (QA), and ITPs

• Review updated drawings and communicate any changes or discrepancies to site management

• Raise technical queries and flag potential programme or sequencing issues

Experience:

• Previous experience working as a Site Engineer within civil engineering or infrastructure projects

Certifications:

• Full UK driving licence

• Valid CSCS card - White - (Manager or Academically Qualified)

Technology & Software:

• Competent with surveying equipment (EDM, Total Stations, automatic levels)

• Experience with AutoDesk packages (e.g., Civils 3D, LSS preferred)

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Project
