Salary: £27,576 | Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30am-4:00pm | Start: ASAP
Contract: 1-week trial → 10-week temp → Permanent

A supportive Secondary School in Long Eaton (commutable within 15 minutes from Chellaston) is looking for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about helping students progress, delivering interventions and supporting pupils with additional needs.

The Role

Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions

Support students with SEN and additional needs

Work with teachers to adapt resources and reinforce learning

Promote positive behaviour, confidence and engagement

Help maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment

What You Need

Experience working with children or young people (school-based preferred)

Level 2 TA qualification or equivalent (desirable)

Confident supporting across subjects (Maths, English, Science, Humanities etc.)

Caring, patient and adaptable approach

Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply
