Hygiene ManagerHours: Monday to Sunday, 9:00am-5:00pm

A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Hygiene Manager to lead an on-site hygiene team. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality cleaning and hygiene services, maintain compliance, and support continuous improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure all hygiene services are carried out and maintained to the required standard
- Manage hygiene staffing hours and ensure all expenditure is authorised and accurately recorded
- Maintain detailed cleaning instructions, schedules and risk assessments in line with BRC food safety standards and customer Codes of Practice
- Conduct compliance audits and inspections of hygiene standards and documentation
- Oversee hygiene chemical usage, dosing equipment, and conduct chemical titration checks
- Promote and maintain excellent Health and Safety standards across the site
- Support microbiological investigations and projects to improve site hygiene performance
- Deliver training and awareness sessions for hygiene and waste-handling staff
- Attend regular catch-up meetings and monthly KPI meetings
Required Qualifications & Experience- Minimum Level 3 Food Safety Qualification (Level 4 desirable)
- Previous experience in a senior hygiene management role within food or FMCG manufacturing
- Strong understanding of HACCP principles
- Health and Safety Level 3 Qualification
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing diverse teams
- Experience participating in BRC and customer audits
