Are you a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on classroom experience before moving into teaching, educational psychology, or youth work? Teaching Personnel is seeking confident, motivated graduates to work as Cover Supervisors in local secondary schools.

This role is ideal for aspiring teachers and education professionals who want to support the next generation while building their own skills and experience in a supportive school environment.

Responsibilities of the role:

Supervise lessons across a range of subjects when teachers are absent, using provided work and resources.
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies, ensuring students stay on task.
Provide additional support during lessons, intervention sessions, or exam periods.
Gain experience across multiple schools or in longer-term placements, depending on your preference.
Desirable Qualities & Experience:

A degree in any subject (2:2 or above preferred).
Experience working with young people (e.g., mentoring, tutoring, youth groups, coaching).
Strong communication, organisation, and classroom presence.
A proactive attitude and a genuine interest in education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
