Long Term Futures are recruiting Secondary Teachers across all subject specialisms for ASAP and September starts in a range of secondary schools across Islington, Hackney, Tower Hamlets and Barking & Dagenham.

We are working with multiple secondary schools seeking high-quality subject specialists to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with KS5 opportunities available in some settings. All subject teachers are encouraged to apply, including English, Maths, Science, Humanities, MFL, PE, Computing, Creative Arts and more.

These roles are available on a long-term, temp-to-perm or permanent basis, offering stability and progression for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons within your subject specialism
Teach across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 where applicable)
Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment
Assess, monitor and track student progress
Contribute to departmental planning and wider school initiatives
Support student attainment, behaviour and wellbeing

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching within a UK secondary school setting
Strong subject knowledge within your specialism
Excellent classroom management skills
Commitment to high standards and student outcomes
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Islington - Highbury & Islington (Victoria Line & Overground), Angel (Northern Line)
Hackney - Hackney Central & Hackney Downs (Overground)
Tower Hamlets - Whitechapel (Elizabeth Line, District, Hammersmith & City)
Barking & Dagenham - Barking Station (District, Hammersmith & City, Overground, C2C)
