Role Summary:
Our client is seeking a Valuation Surveyor to join their professional team. You will provide a comprehensive valuation service across residential, land and commercial property portfolios, ensuring expert advice and high-quality service to clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce accurate and timely valuation reports in accordance with RICS Red Book

Undertake inspections, prepare notes, and distribute finalised valuation documentation

Manage valuation-related negotiations (rent reviews, lease agreements, licences, etc.)

Provide oral and written advice to clients on all valuation and property matters

Handle queries, disputes and appeals with professionalism and within required timescales

Conduct research into legal issues and maintain current market valuation evidence

Support continual improvement of team efficiency and processes

Represent the company professionally with clients, contractors, and professional bodies

Person Specification:

Essential:

Degree/postgraduate qualification in Surveying or related field

Professional membership with RICS, NAVA, CIOB, or IRPM

Strong working knowledge of property valuation, leasehold frameworks, and legislation

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Skilled in time management, negotiation, and client relationship management

Proficient in databases, spreadsheets, and valuation reporting systems

Commercial awareness and attention to detail

Other Requirements:

Valid driving licence - car or company vehicle provided

Occasional evening or weekend work may be required
